The Venue
Perched on the edge of the escarpment, Echo Point precinct offers panoramic views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness and the iconic Three Sisters. The Lookout Echo Point is located on Echo Point Road with majestic views from the upper and ground floor levels of this world class restaurant, café and wine bar.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time position for a Assistant Venue Manager. The role is “hands-on” to oversee the day to day operations.This may be suitable for someone with strong restaurant or café experience, looking for the next move in their career. You will be reporting to the Venue Manager.
The Candidate must have
- At least 1 years’ experience as an Assistant Venue Manager
- Exposure to a multi outlet environment - cafe, gastro/pub or restaurant
- People management, leadership experience
- Strong bar, wine and food knowledge
- Ability to work autonomously and within team
- Willingness to learn with a positive and can do attitude
- Immaculate grooming, Clear communication skills
- Current NSW RSA accreditation
